Safety Features of the Jeep Compass

The Jeep Compass adds plenty of safety features that allows it to almost function as a second set of eyes for the driver. From monitoring blind spots while driving to using onboard cameras to watch the rear for pedestrians as you're backing up, the Compass acts like a virtual co-pilot to keep you and your passengers safe.

The adaptive cruise control feature, when engaged, allows the Jeep Compass to monitor surrounding traffic and adjust to driving patterns. If the car ahead of you begins to slow, the Jeep Compass will compensate by applying the brakes also. It can also accelerate after a period of driving slowly to match its original speed. The Jeep Compass will also monitor where the driver has the vehicle in a lane, sounding a warning if it departs from its original trajectory without an accompanying signal. This feature is particularly suited for drowsy drivers who might be nodding off at the wheel.

Test drive a Jeep Compass today at Team Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Huntsville.
